Why is it important for you to know where your food comes from?

My family used to own a farm with black and red Angus cattle. There is a great difference in taste when you get your food from someone who cares about animals and the conditions they are raised in.

Who inspires you?

Professionally, I am inspired by John Petrucci, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Bruce Dickinson. Personally, I find inspiration in my wife, my family, and our puppy Jelly Ban (aka Beans). Beans loves Crowd Cow, too!

What is your most memorable meal?

My mom's Osso Buco, steamed white rice, stewed pink beans, sliced avocado, and tostones.

What’s your favorite meat dish or meat preparation?

My favorite meats to make are dry aged NY Strip, Wagyu NY Strip, and prime. Favorite meat dish is Osso Buco. ;)

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Travel! I love traveling around the world. I have also learned and mastered many styles and genres of music.

What is on your bucket list?

I want to travel the world on a cruise with my wife and play in every port.

How do you stay motivated?

I try to learn something everyday and strengthen my music discipline with often practice and review. I also take private lessons to improve.
